You must know computer language before you can personalize it,
or you could use Google to search for better templates.

Track Site Statistics – Adding New + Quickly Check If Correct

To add new analytics:
*Do the above steps
*In the analytics page, click add new profile

*Put your URL and country then hit finish
*copy paste the code to your blogger, save
*Back to analytics, click Save and Finish

Additional Tip:
If you want to see if you done it correctly,
just click check status in Google Analytics

again click Save and Finish
You can then see the statistics of your sites

If exclamation still appears, you have done something wrong.

Track your Site Statistics

Google owns Blogger (Blogspot.com), everyone knows that.
But we all bloggers miss the statistics module that
for example WordPress.com blogs already have.
Since they’re in the same family
I think it would be a good idea to implement Google Analytics with Blogger.
But you never know, it might show in the future.

However, if you want to track your visitors on your Blogsites/Websites
without putting up a linkback-image to the tracking-service on your blog,
then Google Analytics is the tool for you.

How to set it up

* Go to Google Analytics, needs google account, sign up or log in. Click HERE

* Now sign-up for google analytics

*Fill up your website profile and click finish

*Now fill up the following, click agree to terms then continue
*Paste code on your site should appear
* Go to your blog’s settings and choose Layout and then Page Elements
* Have a look at the footer (it has to be the footer) of the design and choose to Add a Gadget.
* Find the HTML/JavaScript element click on it.
* Now a new page appears called Configure HTML/JavaScript. Don’t write anything in the title column. Copy and paste the code from Google Analytics (only copy and paste the “New Tracking Code”) in the content box and Save.
* Now your page element has been added. Click on Save on the Page Elements Page as well.
* Then continue the steps on Google Analytics and you’re done!

To check your Site statistics, you just have to click on your account on the first page of Google Analytics. If it says Tracking Unknown in the status column, even after 24h (you have to wait a day until it starts tracking), you have done something wrong.
Also, you might want to get your blog Google verified so your blog gets
crawled – your chances to show up on search results increases.
